WOW….this IS powerful good news. Rod Tryon will be joining us next month on April 9th here in Covina! We are so honored by ALL of the immense talents shared with us each and every year, and it just keeps getting better!! Rod is one of those Artist’s whose work just commands attention. His art is something fantastic to see, no wonder he has traveled the world with his trusty chalk! We are honored that he will share his valuable time and talent with us this year in Covina , California at our 6th annual event. Lucky US! The Artist’s that ‘paint street’ are a whole other breed of animal and I am soO glad that OUR Autistic Artist’s will be mingling all day with greatness while witnessing first hand techniques that WILL astound.
It IS so important for Artist’s to share their process when they can! Those of us always looking for tricks can learn so much being in the presence of these talented masters. It’s such a magical thing to see. A blotch of concrete transformed into almost anything one can imagine…and sometimes things one just can’t!!
I was lucky enough to meet Rod at last fall’s Ventura Art and Street Painting Festival as he created THIS masterpiece…
What an interesting and talented man. make sure you come out to see just what he has up his sleeve for all of us. Meanwhile take a look at these great pics all found on his fabulous facebook page!
Learn MORE about Rod’s street painting history here in this great interview by master chalk-artist Tracy Lee Stum…
JOIN US April 9th and BE AMAZED by pavement and chalk!
